Check the wire colors. The colors are an indication of the voltage that it is for.
Yellow is 120VAC, brown or blue or 220VAC/240VAC or the other way around (can't remember).Check the manuals for exact colors.
However, there could have someone been hacking it into another voltage of course (I've done so on a US cab that was imported over here, of course I clearly marked the plug for 230VAC.
