Where is nearby?

I loosened the yoke and play around with it some.  It is pretty much as far forward as it will go.  With the exception of a blob of what appears to be factor-installed hot glue between the yoke and tube, it's pushed fully forward.  I suppose I could remove the glue blob, but I'm a little reluctant to do so.  Also, sliding the yoke back ~1/2" or so and then forward again, I don't really see any change in focus quality, so it doesn't appear very strongly dependant on forward/aft location.

Regarding the vectors; there about as straight as I've seen for Atari vectors.  They're not perfect, like you see with MAME, but I wouldn't consider them squiggly.  As an aside, when I changed out the "bottlecap" (TO-3) transistors on the frame with new ones, I *did* have squiggly vectors.  But I put back in the old components and the vectors are good again.  I didn't play around with permutations to see if it was just one of them, or the whole lot, causing the issue.  Odd, but in summary no, vectors are not presently squiggly.

No, it doesn't improve after 15-20 minutes.  It's a bit worse when I can first see the image after turning it on cold (~15secs), but after ~60 to 90 secs, it's pretty much as focused as it's going to get, and it remains the same even after being on for hours.

Regarding the rejuvinator.  I don't have one, nor do I know anyone nearby with one.  It would probably be a last resort.

Thanks guys,
Darren

Does it get any better after 15 - 20 minutes of operation?
