So I've read the Amplifone FAQ and the Atari Major Havoc conversion manual and I'm wondering why there are differences in the Zener diode recommendations. The Atari suggestion is 6.8V .5 watt and 8.2V .5 watt diodes while the FAQ recommends 7.5V 5 watt diodes (although he uses the wrong part number). Can anyone explain to me what the difference would be and give me a final recommendation as to what to use? I'm especially confused by the wattage differences. One of my boards has what appears to be a factory mod using the .5 watt diodes. The others have not been modified. -Malcolm
