RE: 19V2000 blowing F101 and F102

Is there a better way of connecting those diodes? Generally those plastic
rubber caps the slide onto the diode are so hard they don't grip. Or the
pig tails are corroded or broken. Is there something newer we could try
perhaps with a cheaper easier to find diode?
