        Ive never seen a tempest with a CR-23..unless its got an
amplifone..  I think you can remove the little plastic deal on the
G08 tube and use it on the CR-23.  You&#39;ll have trouble with the
yoke, unless the CR-23 tube is a 100 degree tube.

        You could cut the traces to the socket for the RGB sends,  Maybe
leave the neckboard unplugged?
