As an interesting side note, I've had problems locating an affordable punch
down tool for williams boards. While I use the crimp connectors sometimes, I
also use the punch down type, depending on my local stores stock. Given
that I have now rewired 3 or 4 williams cabs, some from scratch, I needed to
find an easy way to punch down into the connectors.

What I did, is I took that stubby flat head driver that comes in
most scredriver sets, and ground the tip so it was thinner, and narrower. I
then used the dremmmel tool to cut some slots in the tip, and presto, a
cheap punch down tool!

Is a project I started on but never found the time to finish.

I prefer the spring loaded pin pushers for the Molex pins.
(buy tools that will last a life time if you can afford it).

Also you should note that crimper prices can be much higher than $30
depending on connector.
