Although the pins on the tube are in the same position and have the same
functions as a GO7 tube, the slip-on plastic collar that mates with the
neck board connector is different. Some are silicone-caulked on and can
be quite bothersome to remove. (I modified one by cutting the
"interlock" part off with a Dremmel an Exact-o knife and a lot of tense
moments... ;-) Some tubes don't have the neck connector glued on very
well and it'll pop off with the heat of the tube (which is handy for
this kind of work).
