That's curious, about no manuals that is...have you asked if they have
archived copies on micrfiche? I got a set from HP for one of there
"obsolete" scopes a year or so ago, don't let Tek know about HP's
support <g>.

You might try an ESR meter (plug, plug) to test the caps in circuit,
often a cause for weirdness in our toys...
