Graduated from a PB-10 to a JDR-EMUP several years ago & very happy with it.
But I did make a mistake of purchasing a XELTEK from GDI. They eventually
agreed to take the XELTEK back in exchange for a PB-10 ($450 to $120 guess I
would too!) so I don't have nice things to say about GDI.

What about the new B&K unit?

It is my understanding that the older series of ROM burners didn't work on the
faster systems. The catalogs recommend nothing faster than a 486-50.

But I have heard people running them on faster systems. I still use mine on a
386-40.
