Oh it gets worse than that! You shouldn't reflow the
solder, you should REMOVE the solder and then use
new solder, preferably 63/37 (available at Radio Shack
as "high-tech" solder).

Unless any part of the connection has gold in it, in which
case you need a solder with a 2% silver content!
