2101 / 5101 Question

Question: Are the 2101 and 5101 the same part? I have some 2101 parts
and for some reason I'm thinking they are the same as 5101s. They are
the funny 22pin medium-wide DIPs. I have also got a few tubes of the
goofy sockets for them. All along I've been thinking these are the
RAMs used on the Cinematronics/Vectorbeam boards. Is this correct?
BTW, the exact part number is: P2101-1 and the plastic tubes say AMD
on them. I was unable to find any info on this ancient part.

If anyone can fill me in on exactly, what these are I'd appreciate it.
I'll be checking a Cinematronics schematic myself, but that won't tell
me the whole story (2101/5101/9101/speeds/etc).

Thanks,
