I have a vector generator test box designed for Electrohome monitors.
Unfortunatly when I opened it up the @$#%!@% thing has about forty TTL
chips on a single sided board with LOT's of jumpers. Sigh. Not going to
try this one...it has three speeds. Perhaps one of the wizards here could
take the idea and make a modern test generator. I would be happy to find
out what I can about the Electrohome device if needed.

I believe a simple little tester (kit) might be popular amongst the
collectors and service shops for dealing with these toys. Maybe using an
old Cine XY board as the base, so one could check everything...
