BU406 and BU406D are NOT interchangable...there is a diode across the
emitter and collector of the BU406D (you cannot see this diode as it is
within the package).
Has anyone experimented with putting a diode across the E and C of a
commonly available 406D? I seem to remember a post about it, but I do not
know if it was here or on RGVAC...
