T-Molding

I'm trying to replace the T-molding on my Star Wars. A while back, I
purchased 3/4" T-molding from Happ Controls thinking that this was the right
size for my machine because Star Wars and basically every cabinet I own is
nominally 3/4". When I placed a piece of this T-molding onto the game, I
noticed that the replacement molding is not as wide as the cabinet is and it
leaves a visible uncovered region of cabinet edge.

I used a digital caliper to measure the cabinet, the old molding and the new
molding. Here's what I found. The cabinet measures 0.770 inches wide. The
original molding was 0.760 inches wide, and the new molding was 0.750 inches
wide. It's a *small* difference, but its quite visible.

Has anyone noticed this problem? Where do I buy the right stuff? And what
is it called? My other Atari cabinets measure the same width as my Star
Wars.

I have some mounting hardware that I also need to replace. I hope I don't
find that Atari made up their own threading standard too. :-)

Thanks,
Joel-
