Paul,

I think I can help you out here. I recently
purchased a SW Cockpit and needed to disassemble it
because the trailer I had to move it in was only 5
feet tall and the game was 5 feet 1 inch! It does
come apart, but not easily and I wouldn't recommend
doing it more than once without coming up with a new
way to hold it together. Basically, you have to start
by removing the marquee and the plexi on top. You can
then see that the top arch is made up of three layers
of wood. Each layer has to be removed separately,
starting from the one on the inside. I think the last
layer requires that you actually pull two screws out
of the wood because they are stuck behind the seat and
you cannot get to them. That was as far as I took
mine apart, but once the top arch is off, I think you
can separate the seat from the main game by looking
underneath and removing the braces that hold the two
parts together. Please look first as I have not tried
this and don't want you to get this far in the
disassemby and not be able to remove it. Good luck
and if you decide to try and move it in one piece, I
found that four guys can pick it up and carry it quite
easily.

Thanks,
-Chris
