Misaligned Vectors in Cinematronics

Hey gang!

Well - I didn't fix my Space Wars boards, but this afternoon my set of
untested Armour Attack boards arrived... and they worked!!!!

But they have shown up a problem with the monitor which wasn't obvious with
Space Wars in the 3 seconds that it worked. Although I do remember when you
rotated a ship the vectors didn't quite meet properly.

The lines aren't lining up straight. It also appears the bigger the vector
drawn the more it is out.

Here's a picture:

As you can see the text isn't bad, but the playfield boundary is. (The double
image isn't a problem it's my bad camera work). The tanks and main screen
looks good, but the helipcopter blades aren't correct.

I replaced the TL081's on the chassis but no change.

As there was a slight problem with the Space Wars ships also - I am guessing
it's in the Analogue section of the chassis. Any ideas what to check next? The
monitor has been capped.

By the way - just how obtainable are the big obsolete looking DACS. Should I
get a couple if I can find them?

Also - I have a different rom set to MAME - you can see that from the test
screen in that it doesn't draw the overlay pattern. Also the main screen reads
copyright Rock Ola. Should I read these in for anyone? I guess I'll put the
MAME roms in so I can line up the overlay easily.

Cheers
MacMan
