Oh well, I plugged the monitor in our Tempest (thinking the distortion I
got on the WICO XY signal generator would still be there) - no distortion.
I should ALWAYS check the test equipment first, before I spout off. The
problem with the distortion in the monitor originally turned out to be a
shorted bias diode on one of the driver transistors. The "Diode Check"
function on my meter found that one.

Nice c/t Tempest again, but I am looking for both access doors, and two
good control panels - the game had been modified to something else so there
is an extra hole in each c/p.
