Dave,

   To format the drives, you need a Service or
Maintenance Diskette and a set of boot diskettes.
It's documented briefly somewhere in the 9100 Service
Manual that I cannot pinpoin right now.
Unfortunately, those are harder to come by than 6502
POD's. If you find one, there are a number of other
people (myself included) that would be interested in
it. Good luck!
