Re: Gravitar - Quantum control panel

Thanks everyone for your advice. It seems that rotating the monitor is
not practical. As you say, it is possible but would be a lot of work,
and I still need the Gravitar to function as a Gravitar from time to
time. [;)]

As it is, this hopefully won't be too much of a problem in the short
term, as I'm intending to use a PC with ZVG to play Quantum (and all the
other vector games I could never find/afford) and this should allow me
to play vertical games, albeit smaller, on a horizontal monitor.

I see what you mean, and I suspected that for the trakball to be in the
correct location, that I would lose the positioning of the P1 start
button as it would be on the bend of a Gravitar panel. However, if I
manufactured a new metal panel to the correct shape for a Quantum, then
that should fit the Gravitar cabinet (with a small amount of routing
into the wooden CP supports at the side) then that allow me to get both
the trakball and P1 start in the correct location. At the moment this
seems the most likely plan.

Yeah! I'd have done the same thing if I hadn't have sold my Tempest! [;)]

Cheers
