Asteroids serial numbers...

hi all.

I have an asteroids machine here which i think is a very early one, but i'd
like to know at which number did Atari start their serial numbers? this
machine numbers 18,203 on the serial plate.

main diferences are :

- the old 'coin drop' door like lunar lander
- Stars on the control panel art where normally there is dashed circles...
- one large single speaker grille under marquee
- different art on the marquee, and maybe colours?
- it has the g05-801 monitor too :)

The control panel is original screened, not an overlay. Machine is in pretty
damn good condition overall, but the differences to other asteroids machines
intrigues me :)

I live in the UK, but this machine was imported from Chicago IL a few years
ago..

any ideas appreciated..
