monitor tube 'ears'

I pulled a G-05 out from my Asteroids Deluxe over the weekend and
noticed that one of the mounting brackets on the frame that the tube
mounts to is bent. Kinda gives the tube a slant when it lies flat. Not a
big deal. However, on another corner, I noticed that the mounting flange
on the tube itself has broken loose, and might cause the tube to dangle
about.

Should I bother with rewelding that tab back in place, or is that just
asking for a tube implosion due to the heat of welding? I'm guessing
those tabs are attached prior to the tube being evacuated?
