I've been mucking around with a pause module on Robotron recently by
pulling the /HALT(According the Datasheet /HALT when LOW stops the CPU
after the execution of the current instruction) pin of the 6809EP CPU low
and its works fine on my Robotron.

Two issues I've come up against so far are the Watchdog which must be
disabled of the CPU will reset when you un-pause the game and the screen
burn issue. I've been working on dimming the screen to 25% to save my used
rater monitor from getting burn in. I don't think I'd even think of doing
this for fear of burning the screen on my 25" Amplifone.

On the subject of 25" Amplifones ... is there a source of NEW tubes for
these as there is for the WG 19"?
