Amplifone Deflection

Time to go fishing for ideas.

I have an Amplifone delfection baord with what I think is an odd issue.

This board had a bad Q14. Q14 was/is a MPSU56 (MPSU57 replacement.)

There is no deflaection on the screen other than a haze. The spot killer is not on.

The large resistor on the X side is heating up much more than it should. The one on
the Y side is heating up perhaps slighty more than normal.

Q14 was bad and was replaced.

All transistors on the X side and spot killer ciruit have been checked. All jumpers
have been replaced with wire.

No other components are abnormally warm.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Joe
