Ummm, a slight error here in my previous reply, the capacitance of a
picture tube is in micro-micro farads (pico-farads), not micro. A slip of
the wrist uufd is the correct value.

Thanks Roger for pointing that out. Actually I was thinking of getting my
cool cap meter (measures capacitance in-circuit(!) - but it's been out of
production since the late 80's) and measuring it today for fun.
