Update with regard to ELIMINIATOR SOUND CARD Issues....

All,
****

I know that I previously(last week) had posted to this list, my
issues with a SEGA G-80 ELIMINATOR(MEATBALL) Sound Card
or in my case lack of any Sound from this Card, with exception
to what I had at that time deemed to be White Noise(Static) and
nothing more the entire time the Game was operational.

With the above in mind, I was able to finally obtain a pair of TLO82 Op
Amps
over the weekend and replace the one in location U2 and finally heard what I
would
deem as sound, however have another question for you G-80 Types out there.

What happened, since I replaced this Op Amp is that Audio will occur (I.E.
Exploding Sound)
if you will, about 5 seconds or so after I power up, then quickly fade. Once
the Exploding
Sound fades I hear nothing, however if I turn up the Volume a bit on this
game, I then
continue to hear the white noise or static once again. Note I did not coin
the game up, yet.

Question I have is, is this normal operation for this game / sound card ???
Or do I have other possible issues with some other parts on this sound card
???

As a precaution, I also replaced another TLO82 Op Amp in Location U16 (if I
recall correctly)
with no change to the above, which still leaves another TLO82 on this Board
which I have not
replaced as of yet.

Open to any and all suggestions............

Arcadius............
