Have any of the TPS98's been replaced before with this monitor? Remember
all the TO-92s (TIS or TPS98s) on the GO5 were silkscreened backwards
*except the 3906's* Just something to look out for and could easily blow
your F600 if you follow the silkscreen outline of the TO-92 (you have to
reverse it)

As for the spot killer, I've come across several GO5's in the last few
months that had a leaky TPS98 in that section... Looked good using a
standard diode check, but would flake out with power applied. Never blew a
fuse in these cases or any instances with a faulty spot killer section, (at
least that I've come across). In your case, F600 is blowing and you're
getting a horz line.. it has to be in the Y section.
