RE: Connector on HV Focus wire?

I looked up the specs on a typical insulated spade
lug connector from AMP (fully insulated Faston) and
they are rated for 600V applications. There's an
interesting note in parenthesis that says (1000V
for signs and fixtures). What's the FOCUS voltage
typically?

Subject: VECTOR: Connector on HV Focus wire?

So I've got this G08 deflection board which had been
stripped of all it's transistors (and a few other
bits). Someone had also added an insulated spade
connector to the HV focus wire.

Since the focus wire is the only soldered wire between
the HV assembly and the deflection board, a connector
makes it pretty easy to work on the board. No need for
constant desoldering of the focus wire.

However, I can't believe this is a good/safe thing to
do since I can find no connector that is properly rated
for the voltage in the focus wire. Then again, the
spade connector on this G08 deflection board is not
melted.

Any advice or wisdom here?
