Being that they are much lower voltage - 50vac, I wouldn't think they
would work as well. Of course voltage isn't the whole story, I don't
know what the current is. But, again, at 50vac, I wouldn't think it to
be a very powerful degauss at all.

Voltage won't be that high since vector monitors aren't powered from the

wall outlet, they run from less voltage. Otherwise this works.
