Do not discount the yokes. They make a BIG difference.
Besides the obvious impedance concerns there is the actual physical
design of the yoke which is matched to the tube.
Chassis with sufficient adj. controls maybe able to compensate for
differences in some cases. Dynamic convergence will be the toughest
thing to achieve unless you use the yoke designed for a particular tube.
