Something like 35K points causes the small saucers to come out faster and
the percentage of accuracy sharpens. The algorithm had the ability to
roughly judge velocity and position and project where you'd get nailed,
but it wasn't 100%, and it couldn't take in to account screen wrapping as
you thrusted.

Asteroids Deluxe, however, was absolutely brutal.

The only other mod I've seen is changing it from 1Mhz to 1.5Mhz.
