Cinelabs HV-2000 install on WG 6100I would recommend looking for an old
report cover or a page protector and try using that for the insulator
between the focus block and housing.

As far as the wires and boots go, rob some off of an old broken chassis like
a G07 or something similar.

Anybody see any problems with what I stated?

  Hi gang.

I’m rebuilding a HV cage for a WG K6100 and have installed the Cinelabs
replacement HV transformer since the cage came to me w/o a transformer
installed. However, as you can see by the referenced pictures [below] I’m
missing the two wires that connect to the focus assembly and go to a 2-wire
socket [that then goes to the neck board]. Obviously these are just some
heavy guage wires that are easy to replace. However, these wires normally
have rubber boots on them where they connect to the focus assembly. Since
they are there I’m assuming they are required, right? Can anyone recommend
a replacement for these or alternative solution that is safe?

Also, since the HV unit was missing the old transformer I no longer have
the plastic insulator that goes between the cage and the focus assembly. I
know it’s just a piece of plastic but anyone have any recommendations on
materials to use?

Thanks for any hints you guys have...

  -doug
