I got another Aux board working and swapped it in and it does the same
thing. So, I confirmed that it is on the AVG board somewhere.

Sorry to disagree, but it looks like an analog problem, and given how
BattleZone works, I would look at the window circuit for that side.

Jed Margolin has an article on the theory of operation of the AVG that
described how it works:

And he also helped me fix my BZ when it was drawing on the side of the
monitor. I had read his article, but hsi e-mail to me finally made the whole
