The input protection board does decrease the size of the picture.
Without it the picture will be much to large. I would suggest you either
find someone with this board or if you have the schematic build one
yourself, I don't think there's any special parts on it, All pretty
common stuff. This board also protects the deflection circuits from
overload. Very handy when your G-80 xy pair freaks out.
