Re: Remanufacturing FAQ

Before I found out how large of a group of people were involved in restorations, I
started doing one. Now, looking back and seeing what it was that I was doing wasn't
worth what I was doing (Ameridarts in a Track & Field cabinet), I wouldn't try it
again. I can say that I learned a lot about cabinet restoration. I replaced 1
whole side of the cabinet and made custom artwork for the CP that looked similar to
the original. I also used a router to make the mounting plate for the trackball
flush with the top of the CP. It was a good project. I'm planning on doing a CP
overlay for the Duramold Bubbles cabinet as soon as I can find some time.

I'd be glad to help with something or other and the Cap Kit docs are at your
disposal for inclusion.

Oh, and I'd like to add a plug for my re-opened web page at
http://www.cyberenet.net/~batlzone . Lots of new stuff and I'm going to do a
Tempest page in the near future. I have pictures of my monitor to when it wasn't
working right (still isn't but it was worse) and my machine where it was when I
found it. Should be neat and have some good "restoration" value (see how I linked
Vectors and restorations back into this thread - Cool huh?).

Thanks for your time,

-Al-
