I went out an looked. You are absolutely right. (but you knew that) :)
The Amp tube has a Rauland # and is deeper with a different neck connector on
the tube. I must have looked at the GO8 and the WG and realized they were the
same tube and thought I had looked at the Amplifone.

I had it running for a day (before the red transformer crapped and recall it
being sharp, but haven't done a side by side. I guess I'll have to do that.
