I think the degaussing coil is not working because the colors are off
in the corners of the screen and it happened right after I moved the
game - it looks like a magnetic color shift to me. I didn't take a
picture of it - the pictures I showed are of the left corner which
looks fine. When I first turn the game on I don't see any degaussing
effect on the screen. Could I try to measure voltage at the
degaussing connector on the deflection board as I switch on the game?
That's DC, right?

The rings are all at their factory positions, except I have tweaked
the outer green and red/blue convergence rings to get the display as
"good" as it is now. Everything else is still the way it was sealed
20 years ago.
